My Story

My story starts back in 2005 when I started working at Sheldegren Kennel in Safety Harbor, FL.  After my kennel work was done for the day, I’d go into the grooming room and learn from the groomer.  She was a wonderful teacher and a very talented groomer.  From there, my husband and I moved to Ankeny, Iowa for him to addend Seminary.  I worked at Petsmart for the one year, then worked for Avondale Veterinary Hospital in their grooming salon for 2 years.   In 2009, my husband was called to Faith Baptist Church here in Kittery, ME where we have been for the past 16 years.   I started grooming a dog owned by one of our members, then she referred me to another who referred me to another.  I groomed 12 dogs throughout these years all while having four children and then homeschooling them.   Now, each of them is more independent in their schoolwork, allowing me to officially open my business and accept new clients.   I’m excited to see where this takes me and hope that I can purchase a Mobile Van within the year.
