My Story

My grooming journey began in 2005 when I worked at Sheldagren Kennel in Safety Harbor, FL.  After finishing my kennel duties each day, I spent time in the grooming room learning from a talented groomer who became a wonderful teacher.

Later, my husband and I moved to Ankeny, IA, while he attended seminary.  During that time, I worked at PetSmart for a year, then at Avondale Veterinary Hospital in their grooming salon for 2 years.

In 2009, we moved to Kittery, ME, when my husband was called to Faith Baptist Church.  While raising and homeschooling our 4 children, I continued grooming on a small scale through word-of-mouth referrals.

Now that my children are older and more independent, I am excited to officially open my grooming business and begin accepting new clients, with the hope of purchasing a mobile grooming van within the next year.
